Connect the FontMarch 20, 2012
Our final project for our Typography class is to “create & design a True Type Font that has a multimedia look & feel”. I did three different font studies. You can see two of those in the notebook in the picture. The one at the bottom of the page was the one that got approved by my prof. First, we have make the fonts manually in all caps (A-Z), small letters (a-z) & numbers (0-9). We did the caps last week in class and I did the small letters and numbers earlier. You can see it below:



I got the idea from Braille and connect the dots games. These are not yet final some designs can still change. Any comments? Any letters or numbers that I should improve? What do you think should I name this font?

  1. title-optional said: I really love the title “connect the font” it’s very clever and you should definitely consider it as the typeface name! However, you should consider sprucing up “X” just a little bit - for it could be mistaken for an upside down “Y.”
