After Red Mango, we ate here at Mesa Filipino Moderne. The place was jampacked so we were placed outside and it was a hot day to be sitting outside. So if you have plans on going here, better make reservations ahead of time.

Below is the logo of Mesa in their menu.

They have unique utensils because of how they resemble bamboo sticks as their handles.

Tofu salad is one our appetizers. It’s composed of shrimp, century egg and of course, tofu. It’s good.

The other one is Hito Flakes on a Spoon. I think there were ten spoons of hito flakes. If you love spicy food, better order this one.

(sorry for the blurriness of the the next two pictures. maybe I was so hungry that I couldn’t focus the camera anymore. hehe.)
The next one is the reason why I wanted to eat at Mesa. The Crispy Boneless Pata. It’s boneless and very delicious!

This next one is Baby Squid in Olive Oil. I think you have four choices of what kind of Baby Squid you can order.

I forgot to take a picture of the two Rice we ordered. One was Bagoong Rice and the other I think was Tilapia Rice.
So here is the gang on the other side of the table. (From L-R: Sol, Mady and Liz)

and the other side (from L-R: Mik (who is very happy), Mikki and me)
