My plans for Saturday evening was cancelled because it rained heavily and streets were flooded. I was stuck at Taft. My sister and I were lazy to go somewhere else so we just ate at Chic-Boy Agno for dinner.

We ordered the Cebu Lechon Manok (P99) and Cebu Lechon Liempo (P99) meals also known as CB-5 and CB-6 respectively. We also ordered the Lechon Sisig (P99)

Dahil ang isang order ng Bacsilog ay hindi sapat!
Bacsilog
Bacon, Sinangag at Itlog (Bacon, Rice and Egg). Drizzled with cheese and Knorr seasoning. Perfection! Check out my other posts about the Bacsilog.
One day, when my sister was on leave and we were lazy to cook food, we went to Agno. It was her first time there but it was already late so some of the stalls were already closed. For those unfamiliar with Agno, it’s like a food court with cheap eats and it is located just behind DLSU.
Agno was our tambayan before it was renovated. I think Lasallians now call it NAIA. It stands for New and Improved Agno. I miss the old Agno.

Choctea and Bacsilog

Anyway, because I haven’t been to Agno for quite a while, I ordered the classic Bacsilog from Ate Rica’s stall. Then we bought milk teas in Zentea and I ordered an XL Choctea.

Agno was again the choice for lunch. This time, I bought lunch at the stall right beside the Green Place stall and at Dimsum n’ Dumplings.
I ordered a sisig and a chicken dish that I forgot the name with barbecue sauce from the first stall. Then I bought Fried Shark’s Fin Dumplings from Dimsum n’ Dumplings.

The verdict: I liked the sisig and chicken dish specially with the barbecue sauce. I might try the other dishes from that stall and definitely will try to remember their name next time. As usual, the serving is quite lacking for me so I bought the Shark’s Fin. It was just… meh.. =P I am still a fan of the Fried Shark’s Fin Dumpling + Sweet Chili Combo of Paotsin. You can check it out here: Shark’s Fin.

I’ve been wanting to try again the Shawarma Rice of Agno so I went back to find the previous vendor of the original Shawarma Rice. I think his name was Tolits? but I didn’t find him there or I didn’t try to look for him. hehe. I just saw two stalls that are selling Mediterranean Food. The Osama something stall and the Mediterranean Grill stall.
I ordered Shawarma Rice (P65) from the Osama something stall and I saw that it’s not enough for me. They just flatten the rice in the container to make it look full and scatter tiny bits of the beef in the rice. So, I ordered the Beef Kebab with Curry Rice (P70+) from the Mediterranean Grill stall.

The verdict: I did like the Shawarma Rice but as I said, the quantity of it is not enough. I would still prefer the old Shawarma Rice. I miss it. Can anybody tell me if it still exists? Is the old Shawarma Rice still at Agno?
For the Beef Kebab, there’s something wrong with it. It’s not spoiled or anything but I just think that the curry rice is not hot enough. I ordered it around 4 pm already so that’s why the rice is not hot enough.

Bacsilog
Bits of bacon, fried egg, rice, melted cheese and a little bit of Knorr seasoning. This is THE legendary Bacsilog of Agno. Pair it with an ice-cold Coke and your good to go! Because one order is not enough. Hahahaha! =P
Edit: I forgot to put that one order of Bacsilog is just P55! I got this from Ate Rica’s Bacsilogan inside the stalls in Agno. A must try!

Made this while hanging out back on 2006. Do you know where this is?
a collaboration of Frytz and me while hanging out in Agno, the old Agno. I started the drawing and Frytz finished it and I added the words:
Poste. Ano ang naiisip mo kapag sinabi sa iyo ang salitang poste? Sabi ni Rommel, tite daw. Sa akin, elektrisidad. Mickey Mouse daw sabi ni Frytz. Weird. Kasi may ganun. Poste. Malabo.
Tara Fex! Tara tara Fex! Nanjan naaa si Albert! Woooooh!
