Addicted to Chatime
I admit it. I am now addicted to Chatime. In the span of one week, my sister and I already tried eight different drinks. EIGHT! Although not everything we ordered is milk tea. I’m still not a convert. Coffee is still the first choice. It’s very convenient for us since it’s just below our building.
So these are the drinks that we ordered:

Strawberry Yogurt Smoothie

Strawberry Slush & Lemon Yogurt Smoothie

Taro Milk Tea with Pearls

Taro Milk Tea Pudding and Brown Rice Green Milk Tea with Pudding
Not in the pictures are Matcha Red Bean Smoothie and Passion Fruit QQ.
The yogurt smoothies tasted like yakult and the Taro Pudding is just the right amount of sweetness for me. I didn’t like the Brown Rice Green Milk Tea because well.. it tasted like rice. It’s weird for me. The Strawberry slush is just like any other strawberry blended drink. The Matcha Red Bean smoothie is also one of my favorites but for me, my top 3 drinks as of now are:
- Taro Pudding Milk Tea
- Strawberry Yogurt Smoothie
- Lemon Yogurt Smoothie
How about you? Have you tried Chatime? What’s your favorite drink there?

Bubble! Bubble! Pop! Pop!
Milk tea is the current food trend after the fro-yo phase. Everywhere you go, it’s impossible not to find a milk tea or bubble tea shop. For example, here at Taft, there’s Summer Snow (which I recently posted), Ersao (now it’s closed), Tea Central (I haven’t seen this yet), Zentea, Simple Line (in front of St. Scho), and of course, the new bubble tea store at Taft, Chatime.
Chatime is popping up everywhere. The first time I heard about Chatime was the time when it opened a branch in Landmark. And then all of a sudden, it is now here at Taft. It opened during the last week of June at the Green Podium in One Archers Place. It’s just a small place and it houses just two small tables which you can see in the first picture. (By the way, I don’t know why their sign is not lighted)
For my visit, I decided to order the Red Bean Milk Tea. I like it. Sweet and healthy. If you don’t know what to order from the variety of milk tea in Chatime, just choose the ones with the leaf icon in the menu because it’s their recommendations or choose the ones featured on top of the counter. You can see more of their recommendations and more information about Chatime in their Facebook page.
Chatime already has seven branches open, located at Pioneer Center, Landmark Bridgeway, Robinsons Galleria, Mall of Asia, Banawe, Wilson and One Archers Place Taft. Chatime in One Archers Place is located at the Ground Floor and it’s located at the middle area of the building.
If you already visited Chatime, what was your favorite drink?
