If you’ve been an old follower of my blog, you know that I always order from Victoria Corazon. This is my favorite combination to order, the Bagoong Rice and the Grilled Liempo. The quality of the grilled liempo is not the way it used to be anymore though but the bagoong rice is just as good as before.

The Basic Goodness of Goodles

I’ve always wanted to try out the restos that I haven’t tried yet in Taft. So one day, I tried Goodles. I’ve been reading good stuff about it. It’s located at the second floor of the University Mall. Check out the Taft map I made to find their location.
I ordered the Basic Meat which is “made from 100% premium ground beef and an extra special blend of cheeses, the towering layers of chunky meat sauce and bechamel make it the ultimate lasagna experience”.

They proved their name alright. The noodles were good. The lasagna was really cheesy and meaty. I just think that it’s too expensive for the small portion of the serving. After finishing my meal, I was bitin. I thought to myself, “That was it?” Though my friend told me that the serving in the Goodles branch she tried were okay. I guess I should try Goodles again.

Jolibee Cravings

Earlier today for lunch, I was craving for Jolibee’s Chickenjoy. I tried Jolibee’s online delivery and it was kinda good. The delivery was fast but they did not call for confirmation and the status of my order did not update in the website. I was about to order from another resto when the delivery came. At least I have another option when ordering online other than McDo.
I ordered the Chicken + Spaghetti + Extra Rice Combo. Carbo loading! haha! And I also wanted to try the Hashbrown Burger because I haven’t tried it yet.
I was disappointed with the Hashbrown Burger. It was really salty. I think it was over-seasoned. I just ate half of it then set aside the other half for merienda. It’s been awhile since I last ate Chickenjoy and it was still as delicious as before. The chicken skin is so unhealthy yet it’s so good! Craving satisfied!

The Yangchow Rice (P95) is already a meal by itself. Mixed with shrimps, bits of chorizo, green peas, cabbage, and slices of scrambled egg. The Pork BBQ (P95) is one of my favorites to order from Dats Mix. By the way, the Chicken BBQ has also the same price and the same rice mixed just like the Pork BBQ.

Another Dats Mix Combo

I’m really loving almost all the food items from Dats Mix. I really like the sweetness of the Pork BBQ (P95) specially with the rice. My sister ordered the Longganisa (P95) and I just took one bite from it. It’s the classic breakfast served with garlic rice and salted egg.
