If I remember correctly, this was our second time to visit Mr. Jones. I ordered the Superman Burger while my other friends ordered the Messy Orange Soda Baby Back Ribs and Jones’ Famous US Ribcap Tapa.
Superman Burger (P495) - Home-made 100% char-grilled U.S. beef patty, American cheddar cheese, balsamic sweet onion, hickory, bbq sauce, double smoked bacon, lettuce and tomatoes on a black and white sesame bun with a pickled pepper
Messy Orange Soda Baby Back Ribs (P550) - On top of classic mac & cheese, with lots of extra sauce, pickles and coleslaw
Jones’ Famous US Ribcap Tapa (P295) - served with 2 eggs “any style”, garlic rice, atchara and spicy vinegar
What I really like about Mr. Jones is the huge serving. I think two people can share in a single order of a meal. I don’t think you’ll go wrong in any item of their menu. I loved everything that I tried so far.
How about you? Have you tried Mr. Jones? What’s your favorite food from them?

Before heading back to Manila after the long weekend, we decided to try the newly opened RACKS Subic. I think it opened last March 30 just in time for the long weekend. When we got there around dinner time, it was jampacked. We have to wait for a few minutes before we got a table.

I promised my sister that I would treat her for my birthday last November in a buffet that she wanted. We were supposed to eat at a buffet but all the buffet around MOA was already full or already closing so we ended up at T.G.I.Friday’s. We still enjoyed our dinner and we went home very full.
We ate at Vikings for her birthday last September and she wanted me to treat her there for my birthday. But there was another buffet that opened near MOA called Buffet 101. I called for reservation but they said it was already full so they suggested to just walk-in. When we got there, there was already a long line of people outside. We took a look at Yakimix but the list of people waiting to be seated is longer. We went to Cabalen but it was already closing in an hour. Right beside Cabalen was Friday’s so we just went there.
Ate and T.G.I.Friday’s menu
For appetizer, we ordered the Friday’s Ball Park Nachos. My sister ordered the Mushroom Chicken and Mushrooms while I ordered Baby Back Ribs (Half). For dessert, we ordered the Mocha Mud Pie.
Friday’s Ball Park Nachos - Mounded tortilla chips covered with cheese sauce, picadillo meat, pico de gallo, and salsa
Mushroom Chicken and Mushrooms - Deep fried and topped with mushrooms and Mozzarella cheese. Served with corn in a cob and your choice of rice
Baby Back Ribs and Mocha Mud Pie after the cut.
Baby Back Ribs (Half) - This rack of pork ribs is expertly cooked to ensure they’re fall-off-the-bone tender. Then we fire grill them and glaze them with our tangy barbecue sauce and served with our crispy fries
Me and my baby back ribs
Mocha Mud Pie - Rich chocolate-almond mousse and coffee ice cream frozen in a chocolate crumb crust topped with hot fudge and toasted almond slices
I didn’t like the Nachos since the cheese were just at the bottom. It was bland even with the salsa. The chicken dish was my sister’s and I just had a small bite of it. It was good and I really liked the rice served with the dish. I don’t know what kind of rice is that. I’m not sure if it was pilaf or brown rice. The baby back ribs was really huge even though it was just half a rib! It was really tasty and tender specially with the sauce. I also liked the dessert which is the Mocha Mud Pie. The ribs and the dessert reminded us of the Casa Verde ribs and dessert we had at Cebu. All in all, we enjoyed the dinner and we were already sleepy after finishing all the food. haha!
